Retro City Rampage DX Scores a Retail Release With Limited Collector’s Edition

VBlank Entertainment has announced today that it is bringing Retro City Rampage to retail. Sort of. The open-world love letter to games of the past and present will be getting a physical version, though you’ll have to order it online via the VBlank website. Well, it’s better than nothing…

The physical edition will be a bog standard case with a cartridge, but for those who want something a little more special there is the limited Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition comes with the physical version of the game, a standard retail box with a reversible cover, as well as a manual, soundtrack CD, keychain and even some very retro 3D glasses so you can party like it’s 1995, baby!

The standard edition will cost $29.99 while the Collector’s Edition will go for $44.99 with pre-orders opening on Monday, October 9th at 9am PT/12pm ET.

For those who aren’t interested in physical copies of games, Retro City Rampage DX is available on the Nintendo eShop for $14.99. We only have one question: Is there a console this game won’t be ported to? Like, seriously, it’s released and just about everything, not that it’s a bad thing – the game is great and well worth picking up if you’re looking for something to play on your Nintendo Switch.
